Checking old Deadlock, I REALLY REALLY like Seven's effects that were lost over time. Even the effect that appears when you reload your gun is pretty cool. Electricity crackling on his hat constantly and also the lingering effects on the tubes and on him after his ultimate ends is... also very cool imo. I hope we will get similar effects again once Seven's remodel rolls out.show more

I’m hoping it comes back but was removed for performance reasons for right now, it’s small details that give characters a “feel”.

i assume theyre gonna somewhat bring them back when he gets a remodel, his model is SUPER old and is gonna get remodeled while keeping the core aspects (like what they did with lash)

I think they over did it with the new character shader. It looks amazing on someone like dynamo but i think the more edgy characters work better with the old one. Also not a fan of how skin looks, characters like lash who show alot of it look a bit off to me.

I think Seven's ultimate used to be way more intimidating now its just "Oop he is doing that thing, Apollo, jump at him and while you're at it kill him while he is stunlocked by 2 incoming anvils"

That reload animation is fucking sweeeet

I like the old shaders more, hopefully there's a mod to restore it

Nah the only thing i miss from this is his ult animation with the spinning

they should remove his gun and give him an electric wizard staff or something. it's really lame
