Checkout this pre-snap play recognition by 49ers CB Upton Stout He seemingly recognizes the play, points to where the wide-out is going to pull and then beats him to spot to make the tackle This is why you watch film, kids

@TheSFNiners He’s bout to be all pro soon 🙌🏽

It's truly amazing how they had Lenoir, the best nickel in the league, then drafted Stout, who could now become the new best nickel as Lenoir moves outside and continues to thrive

@TheSFNiners @NinerTribe004 @IvSolly high IQ players like this elevates our team to the next level

DAWG!!!

@TheSFNiners Such a mf DAWG 😤

The way he pointed it out was so gangsta too.

And people were telling me the Niners only won because the Rams were sleepy

This guy needs to be a captain next season I would’ve like him being one this season . One of the hardest working players on the team

The whole D-line was pretty spectacular on that play too - notably Osa standing up the RG to help open up that downhill path to the runner.

Straight dawg... Raheem gonna have him flying around the defense

Really good player

He was ON IT

@Filmwatchers1 88 knew he knew and still couldn't totally stop him. Awesome.

@TheSFNiners He’s so cold

Mcvay gimmick playcalling

Incredible stuff

@TheSFNiners Beautiful football 💪🏾💪🏾💯

This is insane

Future HOFer

Or he was blitzing all the way as Raheem Morris was doing all game

That is veteran-level anticipation from Upton Stout—he diagnoses the pull before it develops and beats the block to the spot. Film study turns a split-second guess into a routine tackle.

@polo_man404 Watching this mid game was even better

🔥

One of our best all night!

I love the attitude in stout it goes and pairs perfect with lenoir style of play both are aggressive
