running addiction is real!

Have you considered drinking whisky as a low impact alternative to running? It's highly medicinal.
Take care of yourself, walk the dog and rest.

Further context on my predicament

might i suggest a 4 hour blackadder marathon and a bottle of wine

Always!!

Honestly Bella, keep of the running & strenuous stuff until you are completely rid of the virus. I had a workmate addicted to training for the triathlons he competed in. He trained whilst recovering from flu, & all I'm going to say, is that it didn't end well.

We do care… be healthy… we need your balance

Try an incline walk on the treadmill. 12% incline at 4.3 miles per hour burns the same calories as a run for me. Get well soon!

Oh nice tip thanks

Get well soon! Cycling? Fairly low impact but enjoyable especially in this weather when not too hot or cold , the breeze running through your face.

Glad you are feeling better Bella 🥰💪🫡👍🙏

Haven’t had the audio on but you look lovely 😂👍🏻

You’re very welcome .. take care .. don’t overdo it 👍😍

Just take long walks. Think through the route so you can get home easily if it proves too much.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. Hang in there

Glad you are on the mend. Until you're totally fever free, rest is best. Then 15-20 minutes walking, maybe with a climb if you're bored or want a small challenge (Primrose Hill, Parliament Hill?), some gentle stretching, then light swimming or cycling, then back into running.

Sending positives vibes from Canada, Québec, love your contents

The toughest part of being ill is being inactive!

Glad you’re starting to feel a bit better

Bottle of wine and the series band of brothers, You are welcome.

Poor pet, hope the heart issue isn’t too serious. You have a very busy life and maybe this is a warning not to push yourself too hard even though you enjoy it. Thinking of you xx

Glad you are on the mend Bella. Only low impact exercise i can think of would be swimming slowly or using resistance bands.

Yeah, running (or any intense exercise) when you're ill isn't the smartest move Bella. I know you don't want to hear it but taking it easy probably is a good call - you can get the fitness back when you're better. Keep safe and be sensible! 🫂

Easy cycling

🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️

You are looking 👌 Good flow talking.

Heart stuff is scary - look after yourself. It must be gutting to be warned off something you enjoy. Don't knock walking, it's great exercise - maybe just increase the distance if Hector is up to it ☺️ You should do more video updates, you come across really well.

Flu can really affect the muscles. Take care of yourself Bella. Best to rest up now and take it easy. Lots of hot toddies 🥃 and some wine🍾

Have you tried pilates?

Reformer Pilates yes… always find a little dull though compared to running / weights!

I'm a better runner since I practice Pilates (which I started doing because of a back injury)

How about some non-cardio stuff - bit of weights etc or some bodyweight exercises, press ups, dips, abs stuff - just nothing too cardio.

Ah, totally getting you. Take care,

Swimming, anything water based(obviously not skiing 🤦). Good luck and take care 👍🦮

cheeky is doing a lot of heavy lifting here

Have you tried swimming, Bella?

I hope you get better 🙏
