Whimsy died in the world when we stopped making commercials like this, this was very entertaining for childhood me, and still is for adult me

I remember this commercial. Always pissed me off that the mother wouldn't get her daughter the ravioli. But fate intervened.

Always had an issue with this ad cuz her mom is going to think she stole that shit lol

We never should’ve stopped making commercials like this. Memorable, wholesome, & family-friendly. Companies nowadays would rather make the equivalent of TV brain rot slop than ever make good commercials. Makes sense though, the general IQ of society has dropped exponentially.

God I miss ads like these, so much soul in them What do you mean people willingly stopped making them like this, and what do you mean it's been 22 years since this one in particular was aired Somebody get me a cane, I need to complain about my joint pains

They must of changed the recipe cause back then it was good, nowadays that brand is terrible

The only thing carrying this brand is nostalgia. Tasted like sad metal depression as an adult. Made you questioned why’d you even liked it as a kid.

We really had the best and most creative little commercials back then. Now, commercials are so uninspired and sterile most of the time or are relentlessly in your face every 2 seconds.

As an adult I look at this and ask “why did you give your kid Chef three times this week”?

What we didn't see: Girl: Let's have this can of Chef Boyardee. Mother: What?! I thought we left that at the store! Did you steal that?!

Way better that their creepy commercial campaign with the kid with tomato sauce dripping from his mouth while he mumbled "Mmm... beefy."

Never liked this ad. It went on for way too long.

I remember remaking this commercial for a class project in High school LMFAO

I didn't understand the end of the commercial as a kid. Even though she got her can, her mom wouldn't make it for her because she had it "every night that week".

I remember this lol. The store probably lost a lot of money if the chef boyardee kept leaving like that without no one really buying them.

This is really nostalgic, back when times were simpler and innocent.

I never understood this because if she said sugar free night what did here having the can do? Besides make her look like she steals and don’t listen
