To prepare for his role as Adam Jones in Burnt (2015), Bradley Cooper trained in the kitchens of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay under Michelin-starred chef Clare Smyth, who was Executive Chef there at the time. The restaurant holds three Michelin stars and Cooper worked real kitchen shifts to understand the pressure, speed, and hierarchy of fine dining. Cooper had already learned French years earlier and spoke it fluently, which helped sell his character’s European culinary background.
