It’s evidently very difficult to build on the existing site, and there are many other factors that come into it. You speak about “money” as though we are run with monopoly currency. How do we compete again with the new rules that are in place unless we are generating revenue. I would prefer a move to a site that is close than constantly have to sell our youth players to balance the books. We are so far behind our rivals when it comes to match day revenue and other revenue streams out of season. You want to survive as a club, then you have to consider the long term sustainability of staying at SB. You make this out to be black and white yet it’s phenomenally grey. Everyone loves the bridge. Everyone would much rather stay at Stamford bridge if we had a choice. But we must grow as a football club and the next step is a new mega stadium. Because our under 40.000 stadium capacity is a disgrace for a club of our size and stature. The problem is we cant rebuild Stamford bridge due to the veteran houses around the stadium. The owners have no choice. So stop being bitchy. This is the only option we have.
