There are hundreds of millions or billions of Earth-like planets in the Milky Way. But we don't see hundreds of millions of alien civilisations. This suggests there's a bottleneck to the emergence of spacefaring civilisations. A common view is that the bottleneck is the emergence of life itself. But Nick Lane believes that life is actually nearly inevitable on any Earth-like planet. The real bottleneck, he says, is endosymbiosis. He argues that something like mitochondria are necessary for complex multicellular organisms. In reality, the stars and wandering stars (AKA planets) are very close within our firmament, just like the Bible tells us. Over 240 verses in the Bible describe Flat Earth, not one about a spinning ball or space. All evidence supports Flat Earth, and the Bible correlates perfectly with the evidence.
