chernobyl is such a great miniseries

The minister for coal had indeed been a coal miner for quite some time, as much as I loved the show it is so inaccurate it borders on offensive to the memory of the people involved (and is absolutely so to Anatoly Dyatlov)

Great watch but basically a work of fiction. Gets almost all of the meltdown and its aftermath completely wrong. Outrageously so actually.

Men in power destroy our world and the regular man comes in to clean up the mess. When will the regular man realize they need to stand up and keep this clean instead of cleaning messes?

When it’s safer I recommend you visit, I went there in 2018. Really interesting

This one lost me when they had the girl boss barge into the meeting to tell the stupid boys how to get it done. There was zero reason to re-write a historical event.

I lived 250 miles away in 1986 from Chernobyl. I was in 6th grade. My aunt died from Leukemia years later.

The Chernobyl miniseries was good, but read Midnight in Chernobyl if you want a better version. The director literally lamented that the book wasn’t written before they started filming.
