@hasanraheeem @ZindagiTrust Chess is anything but gambling. Whoever said this to you had no idea what he/she was talking about. Anyway, think it's a great step to introduce chess in schools. Excellent mental exercise for developing analytical and deduction skills.

Selston High School. Today I asked the Government about Selston High School, 25% of which is currently closed off due to structural issues in the building. To that end I am supporting the school in submitting a bid to the Government to have the school rebuilt through the School Rebuilding Programme. This programme is a continuation of the one in which Ashfield School and Outwood Academy Kirkby's respective bids were successful after I supported their bids. I asked the Minister to ensure that Selston High School also gets the money for the school to be rebuilt.

I was absolutely privileged to visit the govt school in Medipallikalan, near Parigi. It is the best run govt school I have seen in Telangana. The credit goes through the Village and the school principal Kajha Mohiddin. He worked in the same school for 14 yrs and involve the entire village to make it a success. When he was transferred, the whole village protested in front of the collectrate and got him back. Public education system/Govt. Schools in Telangana is totally destroyed. The previous TG govt killed and the present govt is unable to revive it. In the past a majority used to go to govt schools Add few to private schools. It is the opposite now. The community needs to get involved and the community needs to be empowered to have a say in the running of the govt schools. The Medipallikalan Govt. School model needs to be replicated. I want to make at least 50 schools in my constituency, like this one.

"Sexually objectifying school girls." 🚨 "I am here to make 'Ghodi' of these girls." 🤡 Indian rapper Badshah openly objectified school girls and presented them in a sexual manner in his new song "Tateeree." Such a sexist and perverse person should be behind bars. Such messaging is unacceptable, especially when many young people consider him an idol. The song's video even shows girls in school uniforms. This kind of misogyny in the name of art should not be normalized. He is neither a good singer, nor a good writer, nor a good musician. People are not watching him these days, so he has adopted a new formula; making obscene songs & objectifying minor girls to gain attention. This is not talent but a serious offence. Shameful.
