Kaushik, a Class 6 student from Kottakkarai in Gummidipoondi, had gone to the hospital premises to play with his friends during the holiday. While playing, Kaushik touched the high-mast light pole and suffered an electric shock. He was taken inside the hospital immediately, but doctors declared him dead.
