Chibi has started Halo 2! And...she drove a tank into a hole while discussing vital Halo lore. (Side note, the timing of that "uh Chief..." could not have been better 😂)

Ever since I was a little kid Halo 2 has been my favorite Halo game, and it holds a very special place in my heart That it's been exactly 21 years since Halo 2 released feels weird, but in a good way :)

A new report says that Halo's Battle Royale was pivoted into an Extraction Shooter, which could be the next Halo multiplayer project OR a side mode we see in the next Halo release Per Rebs Gaming

In Halo 2, you don't actually "destroy" the Scarab. You kill the pilots and it explodes in a cutscene. For Ruby of Blue's Halo 2: REBALANCE, I created a new power core for the player to destroy! Note that this is a work in progress, and not final. Concept art from early 2023.

Some more work I'm doing for Ruby of Blue's Halo 2: REBALANCE, polishing up 343 Guilty Spark's model! You might notice that the inverse flashing bug Joseph Staten mentioned in the Halo 2 Director's Cut Commentary is now fixed. (Note that this is a work in progress, and not final)

The music from Halo 3's warthog run continues playing into the cutscene after. However, it may not always line up with the cinematic, ending earlier than intended. To fix this, a separate piece of music not on the soundtrack plays towards the end. Here is that music isolated: I absolutely love this music piece. It makes it seem as though the Halo ring sends out a string crescendo as it tears itself apart. As a side note: that shot of Cortana standing in front of Chief with Halo detonating in the background is the best cinematic shot in the franchise, bar none.

"The most horrible thing is Halo not being as relevant as it should be... this is probably the biggest second chance that Halo as a game has, and it really is an all or nothing bet" Halo pro Lucid on Activision giving Halo one more chance

During an interview with Asha Sharma, BBC News said Halo isn't shining as bright as it used to and asked Asha what will she do to bring Halo back to the top spot. Asha said she's confident that Halo is a very important part of Xbox's portfolio, is focused on Halo's importance, and they will have news to share on Halo going forward. #Xbox #Halo

Team Ninja originally asked Bungie for permission to use Master Chief, which proved impossible due to story restrictions. As a result, Bungie developed the concept of a Spartan not connected to the Halo storyline who could fit into DOA4. This concept evolved into Nicole.

I'm modding things into Halo 3 multiplayer that should be completely impossible. If you told me this could work a week ago I would have said no, absolutely not.

Yesterday, a stakeholder confirmed she has not seen any of the alleged newer drafts. The engagements have been verbal. So we are discussing a bill that affects everyone, but the people being consulted have not even been given the updated text to read for themselves? This is not how serious countries make law. We deserve better.

With that, official Halo Infinite competition in the HCS has come to a close. The last four years would not have been possible without the dedication and support of the entire community including players, teams, partners, and of course, the fans. Thank you. ❤️ HCS will return.

In a not-so-distant future, we could be seeing Halo get back to its roots. Let's see XBOX stop treating Chief like a billboard instead of the hero he's meant to be.

RUMOR | XBOX plans to put Halo under Activision Blizzard "I heard a crazy rumor that they might put Halo under Activision. […] this is the kind of thing that they’re looking at, ‘How do we structure Halo so it can actually start delivering on the level of potential that it actually has?’" XBOX is looking at how Activision Blizzard handles its franchises, thanks to its consistent frequency and stability over the years. The leadership reportedly believes ‘Halo could function like a Blizzard franchise.’ via: Jez XB2 Podcast
