So y’all are going to keep voting blue? This is what’s happening in every Democrat-run city in America. Look at the policies and where their priorities are. They refuse to invest in Black American communities, our urban neighborhoods, and instead, they drain our resources. A realtor here in Chicago is actively promoting a pathway for illegal aliens to buy homes in Chicago which is already an extremely competitive market. While our property taxes skyrocket, mostly in the Black neighborhoods South and Westside,,our own residents are displaced, and resources are diverted to illegal aliens? Enough is enough. We are done with the gaslighting, and we are demanding action. Donald J. Trump , we need your help. This month alone in Chicago, a father and son were robbed and murdered. A woman with sickle ell A woman was set on fire by a man with multiple arrests who was released right back onto the streets. And at a downtown tree-lighting ceremony, there was a mass shooting where eight or nine people were shot, depending on the network, and one innocent person lost their life. A woman with sickle cell , and her children ,were jumped by a group of elementary school kids. This is how bad things have gotten. When even little kids are acting out violent mob behavior, you know the community is losing control. Families deserve safety, not chaos. We are living in a crisis, and the people in power continue to ignore it. President Donald J. Trump, we are calling on you to intervene. We need to call a thing what it is. Black tax dollars are fueling an economy that too often leaves Black people out. In an all-Black neighborhood, not one Black face on the crew fixing the roads we paid for. That’s not a coincidence—it’s a system. This is taxation without representation. It’s time for Black elected officials to hold the line: no more contracts without Black representation. Until there’s equity in who gets the work and who benefits from our tax dollars, we must use every bit of our power to shift resources toward our people. In a state that’s 34% Black, a parish that’s 48% Black, and a city that’s 56% Black, it is unacceptable for public dollars to keep flowing to companies that shut Black workers out. We can’t force them to hire us—but our leaders don’t have to keep voting to fund them either. And every time somebody brings up crime in our communities, I’m going to bring up jobs. We fund the building of white wealth every day while being told to “fix our own problems.” That’s not just wrong—it’s corporate welfare. You take money from one community, invest it in another, and then blame the first for the outcomes. If you want to fix crime, start by funding our businesses, hiring our people, and treating our communities like they are equal in investment. Stop asking us to fix the symptoms while you keep feeding the disease.

We had multiple mass shootings in about a week and a half. Then we had a Public Safety meeting, and the chambers should have been packed. Every elected official should have been there asking, “How do we stop the crime? How do we protect the citizens of Chicago?” But look around. Empty. Now compare that to when ICE was here. The chambers were full. Officials we never see showed up. Press conferences were held. Lawsuits were discussed. They showed up fast to protect illegal aliens. But when Chicago citizens are being killed, when our children are unsafe, when our neighborhoods are crying out for help, they are nowhere to be found. On top of that, we had white liberals coming up to the mic telling us that Black and Brown communities do not need policing in their neighborhoods, while being okay with 246 people being lost while on ankle monitors. Wake up. That tells you everything you need to know. Elections matter. Leadership matters. Priorities matter. As Mayor, public safety will be my number one priority. I will hold elected officials accountable, and I will make sure Chicago citizens safety come first.
