This weeks #Deanslist is one of my happy places and features a sermon in the sand! Beach Catholic of Long Island, New York, has been hosting this unique Mass since 2014! We come with our beach chairs and watch the service while listening to the waves. 🙏🏻 🌊

This blob of oil has come ashore in areas including Butterfly Beach, Hammonds and Miramar in Montecito and Santa Claus beach near Carpinteria. It is possibly the one from offshore Sands Beach near Isla Vista that's been on the move from about a week ago. (video: Heal the Ocean)

A viral video that has angered the usual suspects of Muslim men praying on a beach in Britain, allegedly Bournemouth beach but it’s unconfirmed. Can anyone confirm which beach it is? And what’s wrong with praying?

🚨 JERSEY SHORE TURNING INTO JAWS Fishermen are now using drones to drop chum just off the beach during the day so they can catch sharks for Instagram. Police chief in Bay Head says it’s a new trend driven by social media. Sharks are being pulled closer to crowded beaches while people are swimming and surfing. New Jersey already has a law against using drones to bait wildlife. They’re looking to enforce it hard. Sharks have always been there. The problem is idiots trying to turn the beach into a content farm.
