Rooster 🐔 was caught recently in a trap as he wouldn’t come close to you on the streets. He’s a worried boy but he really wants to grow in confidence… he’s trying so hard. Approx 3.5yrs old, will you share your home with Rooster? He’s chicken safe as he moved with around 30 chickens on the streets if you remember 🫣 Plz share 🙏🏻❤️

This woman was pregnant and went into a farm equipment store. She stopped to look at the baby chicks. She and one of the employees discovered one of the chicks was blind. They said they were going to put it down. So she bought the baby chick to save it. She had no experience or knowledge on how to care for a baby chicken. She had a friend who had chickens and they found someone who specialized in handling blind baby chicks. He’s doing great now! Would you do the same? Do you think it was just her hormones acting up? I’d have done the same. Regardless, her husband better hang onto her. She has a heart of gold and she’s going to make a great momma.❤️ (even if they did have chicken last night 😉😂)

felix interview 🐥❤️ 🐥 people get surprised because.. the way i look and the way i sound is.. very different 🐥 as much as people do get surprised i'm just glad that i can just recieve their curiousity. when people hear my voice i hope that they can.. feel a sense of comfort. whether its singing, rapping, narrating, talking, i always hope that i can reach out to the people or to fans. i just want to be someone who can always give that sense of comfort to anyone 🐥📹 hello we are now on our way to... the stadium! and as you can hear STAYs are waiting for us, cant wait! 🐥 there are so many fans and so many other people that go through so much hardship and i know they'll go through so much more than me and as i know that.. i try to put everyone else first instead of myself 🐥 i think back when i was like 18 i left school to pursue this career. it was a huge step, sacrificed a lot to get up to this point in life. there are definitely times where you know i was losing a sense of who i am, of who i was, and it did hit me you know? 🐥 why am i really here? this journey that i chose to take on, ever since i was little, but now that i achieved it, why am i still doing it? i did so many things to find that answer and i think thats really hard to... find it. and i was lost, yeah i was lost for quite some time and thats just the dark side that not many people, actually, that no one knows. 🐥 you have to help youself out first in order to help others right? 🐿 hannie! 🐥 bbokie! 🐿🐥 han bok! 👏 🐥 so yeah i try to be that sense of light. even though i'm the most emotional on the team i always remind myself in the end, what is my job? what is my purpose? what is my uhm.. mission! 🐥 at a time like this people still need to.. see that sense of light. and no matter where theres so much darkness i do the best i can to spark some light. you know, to be a light for everyone else. people need to have that. you know that sense of love and i do the best i can 🐥 and if they truly love me back they'll understand what it is that i go though. 🐥 all good yeah! it was good whoo~!

🥚 **Explanation of Chicken Math** 🥚: A warning for future chicken owners (and husbands). I have 9 chickens and 1 rooster. One of my hens hatched 4 more babies on Easter Sunday. Now I have 13 chickens (and a rooster). I should have been good after this, right? Wrong. One of my chickens, “Blue,” was very broody and wanted to hoard eggs so badly. So, I finally decided to give her 3–4 eggs and just see what would happen. I wasn’t even sure if they were fertile. I marked them so we wouldn’t gather them and let her have them. Mind you, they were all laid on the same day. As the weeks passed, she continued to hoard other eggs, many times creating a massive pile for herself and sometimes abandoning the marked eggs altogether for a larger pile. In my head, I thought, “There’s no way those eggs will hatch. She isn’t taking care of them properly.” But behold, on Friday, May 30th, ONE egg hatched. A precious little black baby with white spots was born. The other eggs showed no sign of life. I quickly moved the mom hen to a brooder box with her single baby. I moved her other marked eggs as well but had little faith they would hatch. A day later, none had hatched. Still no sign of life, and she had shoved them into a corner (meaning she was done with them and focusing on her single baby chick). Well, it’s not good for a baby to be alone. Chicks don’t do well without other chicks, so, naturally, I went to my feed store and grabbed two more chicks. They were crested, which means they have Afros. SO CUTE! Now, I have 16 total chickens and 1 rooster. Two days pass. It’s Monday. I forgot to toss the eggs that were abandoned by the mom. I go outside to clean out her brooder box and grab those rotten eggs. But lo! One of the abandoned eggs was hatching! And the baby had clearly been struggling to hatch for a while. The inner lining was very dry. My poor pregnant soul was immediately emotional and had to help this baby live! I assisted with the hatch, knowing that the mom hen would likely reject this baby. Sure enough, the mom rejected her once she was born. I waited for hours to see how the mom hen would react. She wanted nothing to do with her. The baby was small and had signs of dehydration and failure to thrive. But I didn’t want to lose this baby, not if I could do something about it. So, I grabbed her, placed her in a box with a heat lamp, and brought her inside, determined to raise her myself. But HARK! It’s not good for baby chicks to be alone. I called an expert, and the first thing she said was, “You need other babies to be with her; she probably won’t make it by herself.” So, again, I went to my feed store and bought two more crested Afro chicks. Now, I have 19 chickens (and my rooster). And chickens inside my house that I’ll likely still be taking care of even when my own baby is born. This is chicken math. And I don’t know why I do this to myself. In 6 weeks, I gained 10 more chickens. Totally by… accident.

This is very concerning - A chicken to go to market used to take a year in America - That number went down to 4 months - It then dropped to 14 weeks, then to 12 weeks 🚨 Today even ‘organically’ raised chickens go to market in 8 weeks, the farmers “signs a contract that he will not try to find out what's in the food” “You know how long we take now for even organically grown chickens to go from the hatched egg to the market? When I first started doing this 15 years ago, I told people how alarming it was that we were getting a chick to market in four months instead of a year. And then it went from 18 weeks to 16 weeks to 14 weeks to 12 weeks. And now I just recently read a report that even organically raised chickens are going to market in 8 weeks. Now, the poultry industry, with the backing of our government and with this backing of legislation, insists that there are no hormones used in the poultry industry. Then how? What accounts for that change? The trick is, in the field, when a modern farmer buys eggs, he buys fertilized eggs and signs a contract to buy the food only from that egg supplier. And these are big multinational companies. He also signs a contract that he will not try to find out what's in the food. And we are not allowed. It's proprietary. No, we don't use hormones, but we won't tell you what we give them. And your government not only accepts, but enforces that.” - Al Sears M.D.

My very first time in London and I thought I would start day 1 by being a typical tourist. So this is London… but where are all the native English people? I’m assuming they have all moved out the city😂 … I’ve had a Polish breakfast, an Italian lunch, and I’ve just ordered a proper Pakistani dinner—still waiting for my first fish and chips encounter. Day 1 observations of being a proper tourist - It’s like an international buffet of people. My Uber driver had to use Google translate to ask me to put my seatbelt on 😂 Will update soon with my dinner. I’ve found proper Pakistani mashed daal, Kulcha naan, Lacha paratha, chicken karahi and a daal gosht. 🇵🇰 Tomorrow I’ll be on the move into more non tourist areas. 🐓 When I was a kid, I had a pet chicken named Mr. Happy, who in some ways was my best friend, especially since I'm an only child. 🍽️ One day, my grandma secretly killed him, fed him to me, and lied about it. Though I knew I was eating chicken, I happily did it, thinking it's NOT Mr. Happy. 🐔 To me, each of these chickens is a sentient being like Mr. Happy or our other pets. They too deserve freedom from captivity and exploitation. 🛡️ We'd do anything to ensure the safety and well-being of select animals. We spend a lot on vet bills and go through tough times to ensure their happiness. We don't believe killing them is acceptable, even if they've had a good life. We respect their autonomy and their desire to live without exploitation. 🍗 Somehow, that connection is lost at the dinner table. When I hear people mindlessly ordering "fish" or "chicken" I think about the sentient beings who were tortured and killed. 🌱 As you can gather from my story, like many, I grew up calling myself an animal lover. But through no fault of my own, I was conditioned to eat animals and their products without questioning. It all seemed so normal. 🚫 11 years ago, I finally opened my eyes. I saw my hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance. I stopped eating animals, their milk, or eggs (since all those animals are exploited and killed). 🌍 Since then, I've become passionate about the food system. Consuming animals causes immense pain and suffering. Moreover, it harms us and the environment we all share. And concerning public health, like the increased risk of pandemics such as avian flu, we put each other's lives at risk too. 🛒 I'm sharing this because I have hope. I hope you can see what I saw, what was hidden from us. Grocery stores and restaurants show us pictures of happy animals, labeling them "humane," "cage-free," "organic," "grass-fed," etc., to make us feel better. 😔 Because they know consumers love good news about bad habits. They want us to buy their products and feel good about it. 🤔 For any business, whether small and local or large and global—whether it's McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Inc., KFC, Burger King, or Whole Foods Market, Chipotle, or Subway®—which do you think they'd prioritize if the well-being of animals conflicts with making a profit? 💰 I'm not an economist, but it'd be a stupid business choice to choose animal "welfare" over profit! Unless it can be used as a marketing tactic to sell more products! That's why these labels don't mean anything. They're just marketing tools. And I know you know it too! 🔍 Indeed I have investigated humane and local farms and what I've seen and learned is that as long as animals are objectified to make profit and run a business, they are abused and killed in one way or another. 🙏 My friend: I need your help. I need you to make the connection, and do so quickly. I need you to see these animals as the sentient beings they are. I need you to have the courage to stand up against societal norms when they're wrong and harmful. I need you to join me in not supporting this broken food system. And I need your voice to speak up, educate others, and help me fix this cruel and unjust system. ✊ Yes, some people will troll, dismiss, or be triggered. But I'm writing this because I still have hope that YOU reading this can understand me and join me. 👀 If you ever have doubts, join Animal Save Movement and see those animals coming from all those happy, humane, and local farms.
