The president must follow the Constitution. If he wants to push the boundaries, we’ll hold the line in court. This is America. The U.S. military has no place in our streets. Portland is peaceful. There is no reason to deploy National Guard here.

At the Noordwes substation, security guards don’t have a proper guard house. They don’t even have ablution facilities. This substation was vandalised in 2017, as a result there is no proper infrastructure even for those meant to guard the place. #eNCA

This security guard is standing behind this man because he was standing by the exit waiting for his wife to shop. She said there was no “laundering” around; she meant loitering. The exchange seems off, though there is something off with this particular guard. What is it? I don’t think she’s all there today.

This is what Trump is working to do with the National Guard. Make Americans more safe. You can literally see how safe it looks. We even have a woman telling us how much better she feels since the National Guard has been present. This is actually helping people. And the democrats are still demonizing Trump for deploying the National Guard to keep Americans safe. They care more about opposing Trump than they do about working to make people's lives better. It's actually quite sad.
