Doctors will block the puberty of children with “gender incongruence” as part of a medical experiment to determine the impact on their well-being, says the British government. “Right now, there isn’t enough information about the possible benefits or risks that young people with gender incongruence may experience when taking puberty-suppressing hormones,” says King’s College London, which is set to carry out the experiment next year on children ages 10 through 15. “The study will be overseen by independent advisory groups,” adds King’s College, “and will be subject to rigorous regulatory and ethics checks by UK regulators and the Health Research Authority.” If there are indeed ethical and evidence-based “UK regulators” who are in charge of “ethics checks,” they must stop this unethical and dangerous medical experiment on children before it begins. Puberty blockers don’t improve mental health. Data from a gender clinic in Britain that the government shut down because it was causing so much harm, Tavistock, found that more children see their mental health worsen than see it improve. Children are not old enough to give their informed consent for puberty blockers, and they are not medically necessary; the children can receive safe and evidence-based treatments for anxiety, such as family-based cognitive-behavioral therapy, and gender anxiety goes away for the vast majority of children once they go through puberty. Earlier this year, psychiatrist and former Tavistock gender clinic board member, David Bell, argued that the UK law demands that experiments minimize potential interference with a child’s “state of development.” And yet it is with a child’s “state of development” that puberty blockers are meant to interfere. The experiment will not allow the doctors or children to be “double-blind,” or ignorant of whether they are getting the chemical or a placebo. It is easy to imagine how doctors biased toward puberty blockers would treat the children receiving them in ways that might temporarily boost their mental health and distort self-reporting. And it is based on a pseudo-scientific ideology that posits the existence of a non-entity called “gender identity” in children’s brains. And, finally, the UK government already declared puberty blockers to be risky last year, which is why it prevented any doctor, not just those in the NHS, from prescribing them. The UK government says the lack of evidence for puberty blockers is why it must study them, and it was the author of last year’s report on trans medicine, pediatrician Hilary Cass, a Baroness in the House of Lords, who agreed to these experiments. Her review found the evidence for their benefits was weak and the potential for negative effects was unclear. There are reports that Mission Hospital in Asheville North Carolina was told today, that they will be the morgue for body recovery. As of a few days ago, there were reports of 900+ bodies at the hospital that haven’t been identified. There are also reports of babies and children washing up in the river, and more reports of bodies in trees. An insurance agent Hana’s teammates went to drop off supplies in Asheville and set up relief tents yesterday. While setting up they saw four babies, three children as well as adult bodies that were recovered from the mud and trees. National guard member Breona Bryant has also mentioned that they are seeing dead children. Those doing rescue operations are traumatized and many survivors of the storm are suffering from survivors guilt.

I’m afraid I have some terrible news. The governor of America’s largest and richest state has just signed a law that puts 10 million children and adolescents in grave danger of medical mistreatment. The media headlines have it wrong. They claim that California Governor Gavin Newsom’s new law protects children by stopping public schools from outing their new gender to their parents. It does just the opposite. It makes children vulnerable to irreversible and lifelong medical abuse and mistreatment. And it is all based on the pseudoscientific idea that some children are born into the wrong bodies and that we can change a person’s sex through drugs and surgery. For any of this to make sense, you have to understand what’s happening in Britain. Several years ago, the government appointed a well-respected pediatrician named Hillary Cass to investigate whether it was ethical to block the puberty of children, give them opposite-sex hormones, and perform surgeries on their bodies to make them feel better about their gender. Dr. Cass came back a few weeks ago and said no, absolutely not. Around the same time, the British government banned puberty blockers nationwide. And, just a few days ago, the new Labor Party government affirmed that it would maintain the former government’s ban. In her report, Cass said that the so-called “social transition,” whereby a child adopts the identity of the opposite sex, is not a neutral act and has psychological consequences. This means it is the first step toward medical intervention. What Gavin Newsom has done is actively prevented schools from informing parents that their children have been put on a medical pathway. This is an outrageous attack on the rights of children and parents. Children have a right to go through puberty. No adult should be able to block their puberty. And parents have a right to know if their child thinks that they are the opposite sex or were born into the wrong body. We have seen with leaked internal documents of the leading gender medicine group, WPATH, that these medical interventions, namely puberty blockers, hormones, and surgery, are not only irreversible but result in sterilization and loss of sexual function. Children or adolescents are simply not mature enough to understand the effects of so-called “gender-affirming care.” They cannot, in other words, give their informed consent. The new law creates the grave risk that activist teachers, students, and outside groups will convince their children that they were born into the wrong body, and hide their “social transition” from parents, which will lead to harmful medical mistreatment. As such, the law that Newsom just signed is the opposite of what both children and their parents need. We need schools to immediately warn parents if their children think they are the opposite sex. After all, this is a diagnosable psychiatric condition known as “gender dysphoria.” And if your child has a psychiatric disorder, whether anxiety, depression, an eating disorder, or gender dysphoria, you have a right to know. And schools must stop teaching children, or allowing other people to teach children, the pseudoscientific and dehumanizing ideas that it’s possible to be born into the wrong body and possible to change one’s sex. As such, either the legislature, the courts, or a ballot initiative will be required to nullify Newsom’s law. Until then, it is important to spread the word to parents that California public schools are fundamentally unsafe for the millions of children who attend them.

Even experts who criticize the administration of these drugs to children often say, "there is limited research" regarding long-term effects. My name is Chris Elston, and I’m here to speak for children being irreversibly harmed by health professionals practicing what is falsely referred to as gender-affirming care. It is not caring to stop the development of children with puberty blockers. These are repurposed chemical castration and cancer drugs. It is not caring to alter their development with opposite-sex hormones. Every systematic review of the scientific literature shows that children are being harmed, and that scientific rigour is non-existent. Activist organizations pushing ideology have hijacked the medical community, and what is being done is nothing more than a live, unregulated experiment on kids. It is one of the great deceptions of our time to teach children that they might have been born in the wrong bodies! Affirming care would be to tell them that they are beautiful just as they are. No drugs or scalpels needed! Instead, children are being sterilized, and are having healthy body parts cut off. Overwhelmingly, these kids are autistic, have other mental health comorbidities, and many have suffered trauma or abuse. Girls as young as 12 are having their breasts removed, and 16-year-old boys are being castrated. State encroachment on parental rights is worsening outcomes. Here in Geneva, a child was taken from her parents because they refuse to transition her. Children have the human right to grow up with their bodies intact. It is time the Member States of the United Nations use the resolutions, procedures, and other tools at their disposal to stop this child abuse!

On this Transgender Day of Remembrance, we remember my speech at the United Nations Human Rights Council. My name is Chris Elston, and I am to here to speak for children being irreversibly harmed by health professionals practicing what is falsely referred to as gender-affirming care. It is not caring to stop the development of children with puberty blockers. These are repurposed chemical castration and cancer drugs. It is not caring to alter their development with opposite-sex hormones. Every systematic review of the scientific literature shows that children are being harmed, and that scientific rigour is non-existent. Activist organizations pushing ideology have hijacked the medical community, and what is being done is nothing more than a live, unregulated experiment on kids. It is one of the great deceptions of our time to teach children that they might have been born in the wrong bodies! Affirming care would be to tell them that they are beautiful just as they are. No drugs or scalpels needed! Instead, children are being sterilized, and are having healthy body parts cut off. Overwhelmingly, these kids are autistic, have other mental health comorbidities, and many have suffered trauma or abuse. Girls as young as 12 are having their breasts removed, and 16-year-old boys are being castrated. State encroachment on parental rights is worsening outcomes. Here in Geneva, a child was taken from her parents because they refuse to transition her. Children have the human right to grow up with their bodies intact. It is time the Member States of the United Nations use the resolutions, procedures, and other tools at their disposal to stop this child abuse!

Two years ago, as the Russians retreated, they kidnapped 48 children. None of them were even three years old. Most of these children were forcibly relocated deeper into occupied territory — to Crimea — while others were deported to Russia. Ukrainian children are not toys, although it seems that for Russian elites and officials they are. Behind each of these children is a life that must not be lost, a future that must not be ruined. This is a long tweet - but its worth a read - Reform UK’s Dr David Bull talking about family and whether parents should stay at home to look after their children: “You want to support marriage through the tax system and make it easier for parents to stay at home to look after their children - what's the reason behind that?” Dr David Bull: We believe that children do better in stable relationships across the board. And actually we need to encourage that. In marriage you think? Dr Bull: In marriage, and that marriage is an important bond, isn't it? Because I think what children desperately need is someone at home, and they need someone to be there and support them during that education. So we think that's a cornerstone, actually. And one of the things that I find really strange and very difficult to understand is the disconnect that children now have, because when you come home, you want to be able to offload what's been going on at school, and you need someone at home to be able to do that. And if we can incentivise that through tax breaks that has to be a good thing. Do you think if you're a child with two working parents, that's not a great upbringing for you? Dr Bull: No… Of course, it's incredibly difficult. And parents have to work because of the cost of living. But actually, the ideal would be to have a parent that is there available when children need them. You say in the manifesto that the majority of mothers would choose to stay at home more if they could. What's the research on that? Dr Bull: So we polled extensively, actually. But I think if you talk to any mother, of course, they want to spend time with their children. They want to see them grow and develop. And if you're spending all your time at work and you don't have enough time with your kids, I think that's a travesty. You think it's a travesty? Dr Bull: yes And do you think it damages the children as well? Dr Bull: I think emotionally, children need support as they grow and develop. There are lots of questions they have.
