Streatham Wells Primary School in London has created lessons for young students on challenging ‘unproductive gender stereotypes.’ Elliot Page, who identifies as a ‘man’ is being used as an example for children to “show that masculinity can mean softness, and strength and everything in between”- according to the schools head teacher. The school is also using Harry Styles and Disney characters as examples to show different ways to ‘be a man.’ Source: Pink News

The first "Batley Grammar School" incident starts in 1982. Ray Honeyford was the Headmaster of Drummond Middle School in Bradford. He wanted to teach "Britishness" & all children should be treated equally. He objected to parents taking their children out of school for trips to Pakistan, bilingual lessons & was confronted by a parent & others who objected to girls having swimming lessons. "It's against my religion" the parent said. Like Batley Muslim mobs demonstrated outside the school. A line of police officers were needed to escort him into school in 1985. Pupils boycotted lessons. In 1986 he was forced to resign & never worked again. He died in 2012 aged 77. The narrator is Rod Liddle. We never learn. Hat tip Wolf 🐺 for the story.
