Why do people do that at all!? It has absolutely no reason to exist. It doesn't help in any way or make you look better. Retarded western culture. My mother also did it when I was a kid. I had no idea what was happening and don't remember almost anything, except for the pain.

Idc if it’s cheap, parents need to STOP taking their kids to get their ears pierced at Claire’s. Piercing guns CANNOT be properly sanitized so they spread bacteria and it’s way more likely to get infected. And it pierces with blunt jewelry instead of a needle, causing blowouts.

Doing this yourself or using an auto perforator is a shame especially on a young person. Go to a real professionnal that will use a precise needle that is safe for the skin with no risk of infection and no dolor.

My Great Aunt pierced my ears with ice and a sewing needle when I was 5.

Using a piercing gun is blunt force trauma. They should use the properly gauged needle. Usually a 14 ga and basically painless.

I got mine done when I was 10. My grandma kept taking me to different places to get them pierced, but I always chickened out. One day my mother took me to a place in the mall, when again I tried to chicken out when my mother said, “Sit your ass down!” And that was the day! 🤣
