This is Kouri Richins .. she has been found guilty of murdering her husband for Insurance money because her business was failing. She has been sentenced to life in prison.. but this video is about her children, and their victim statements as read by social workers, for the court. The life that they lived with this woman amounts to nothing but horrific.. and the sick part is she shows no emotion listening to the words of her own children . I chose two children’s statements to include in this.. I think it gives you a very good idea of what their lives were like.

Josbeilys is 10. Her dream is to be a doctor. Just over a week ago, two earthquakes changed everything in her city in Venezuela. Now she’s with her family, adjusting to life in a temporary camp set up by UNICEF and partners. We’re helping provide healthcare, water, nutrition and safe spaces for children like her to play and heal.
