Just because the in-flight entertainment isn't working and there was no AC (there is never AC when hooked up to airport facilities upon boarding), does NOT mean the plane will fall out of the sky 15 minutes later. They hadn't even left the gate!

Air India are renowned for seats, movies, aircon etc not working. That’s why they have cheapest fares. But none of these facts puts passengers safety in danger

It's not good optics agreed,but there's a huge difference between in flight entertainment not working and seats being shite to the actual mechanics of the airline working

This wasn't the plane that crashed. It was Air India but another plane that left 2 hrs. ahead of the one that did.
