Your statement is a complete lie. China was a third world backwater of poverty until 1979 when the communist government, against its own political beliefs, opened up the country for foreign trade and investment and implemented free-market reforms modeling capitalism. The only difference is the Government in China gets to own a lot of the businesses and keeps the lions share of the proceeds. What you see is the opposite of communism.

Pure copium. State owned enterprises and banks dominate and plan the economy according to 5 year plans. Markets are a tool just like direct allocation is a tool. Capitalists are allowed but executed or silenced when they overstep the state plan. Ask Jack Ma.

China is not communist. It’s fascist. They have private ownership and markets but everything is regulated and the government has absolute power.

China is a corporate communist. It doesn't adhere to communist ideology strictly. It has embraced capitalism which is what gave it so much prosperity.
