I found out it’s not just tourists who are coming to 🇨🇳China, in 2025, 1.28 million overseas patients came to China for HEALTHCARE! Medical students from developing countries are also coming to China to study medicine. I recently interviewed medical students from 🇨🇻Cabo Verde and 🇳🇵Nepal, who are doing their PhD and internships in China's hospitals. Their intelligence and dedication to bringing that knowledge back to improve their home countries' medical services are what the Global South needs!

On top of 700 billion yuan ($96.7 billion) added financing windows and an additional 80 billion yuan ($11.1 billion) injection into the Silk Road Fund, China is moving ahead with the development of the multidimensional Belt and Road connectivity network, one that is led by the building of a green Silk Road and will empower a digital Silk Road. 2⃣is to implement the Global Development Initiative. The US has ramped up the ongoing trade war, announcing higher tariffs on Japan and South Korea starting Aug 1. Li Daokui, dean of the Institute for Chinese Economic Practice and Thinking at Tsinghua University, told #ChinaPerspective that China now has a clearer sense of how to handle tariff pressures. With China's strategic importance in global supply chains, including that of rare earth, Li said the country is in a better position to put forward its own demands. "I believe that in the near future, China and the US should be able to reach a new trade agreement that is beneficial to both sides," Li said during the Global Forum of Finance and Economics, part of 2025 ZGC Forum.
