CHINA IS NOT PROOF SOCIALISM WORKS From 1949 to 1978, China followed real socialism: the state owned everything, private business was banned, and the economy was centrally planned from the top down. Those were the years of extreme poverty, empty shelves, and nationwide starvation—including the Great Leap Forward, where tens of millions of people died because food production collapsed under socialist policy. That’s the economic reality of the system people are trying to call “successful.” The China people admire today—the skyscrapers, the factories, the global economic power—only began after 1978, when Deng Xiaoping opened the country to markets, private enterprise, foreign investment, and profit incentives. The Communist Party still governs, but the economy runs on capitalism, competition, and money-making, not Marxist planning. China didn’t rise because of socialism. China rose when it stopped practicing it.

Here’s a picture of Las Vegas.

Nooooooooope

Lit up buildings are proof of a nation's freedom, prosperity, and happiness! Just look at Pyongyang. 👇

yes, it does work...For the few. For the many is $15k a year salary

😂😂🤣😂 Have you actually seen China?

In the last 40yrs China has become more capitalist, USA has become more Maoist, stfu.

China was an abject shithole when it was full-on Maoist. They owe their current success to embracing the free market, and even then they got there by subjecting their workers to slave-like conditions and stealing IP.

China’s rise began when it abandoned socialism in the late 1970s and embraced capitalism through private ownership, foreign investment, and market competition. Those skyscrapers were built by market economics, not Marxist theory. But outside of Shanghai and Beijing, most small towns and villages tell a different story. The middle class is small, and the lower class still struggles with low wages, limited healthcare, and fewer opportunities. The gap between rich cities and poor regions is enormous. Been traveling to China since 2009. Been to 25 cities / towns.

So pretty lights are your measurement for success??? WTF is wrong with you, dude?

Shiny light. Shiny light good. Autistic bozo.

Meanwhile, the average city in the US oligarchy:

China is proof that ditching “communism” for a form of neofascist corporatism “works” for building showcase cities and creating an oligarch class, in nations with vast reaches of grinding poverty, that is in a demographic death spiral.

Lol they aren't really a communist nation

0 iq retards will say it’s not communism

So ignorant. You clearly know nothing about wages and conditions of the Chinese people So very misleading

China grows rich, but at what cost? Millions suffer—hardly proof that Communism works.

That China was wretchedly poor and its people starving from Mao's Great Leap Forward until until the coup against the Gang of Four and Deng Xiaoping's glorious embrace of free market liberalization, is proof positive of the failure of communism. Chinese know the slogan 打'四人帮'

It’s not really Communism is it? Certainly not what Mao envisaged. Btw the pre-tax annual income in China (2024) is approximately $5,750.

If you lived in china you wouldn’t be able to tweet like you do

🚨found one @Ifoundretards

Move there then.

Income inequalities in China. (top 1% earns as much as bottom 50% = communism🙄).

This must be a parody account. China is unequivocal proof that capitalism works, for without capitalism China would be paddy fields and deserts!

Go there. No one will miss you.

Jackson YOU IDIOT!!! Try to study history harder you MORON Communism DOESN’T work. Read this 👇🏻

So does a Republic.

Jackson you are dumber than you look and stupid as they come. No!!! China’s success is not because of communism. China’s rise happened when it moved away from communism and adopted market capitalism under state control. Domain System Politics: One-party authoritarian Economy - State Capitalism Trade - Global free trade economy So politically, yes — it’s authoritarian. But economically — it’s capitalist. Why Did China Succeed? a) Cheap labor + manufacturing China became the factory of the world. b) Massive infrastructure investment Highways, ports, power grids, high-speed rail — built fast. c) Strong centralized planning Not democratic = decisions are made quickly. d) Education + discipline High emphasis on math, engineering, and competition. e) Focus on long-term national strategy China thinks in 50-year plans, not election cycles. China’s success comes from capitalist economics executed under a centralized authoritarian government, not from communism itself. If you’d like I can give you a master class?! So, the next time you want to open that shit hole you call a mouth you actually know what you’re talking about.

If China is so great why haven't you moved there and why is no one else trying to move there? Seems like they all want to move here. Why is that? Here may be why. In communism there are two sides, The Rich and The Rest. If you're rich it's tolerable, if not it SUCKS

You have clearly never been there. And if it works so great, why don’t you move there? Last time I checked, you can leave America for free. Of course, getting into China might not be easy, but getting out is damn near impossible. Go for it.

you really are a fool! been there 7x - where are the pictures of those without any safety net? where are the pictures of the trench toilets everywhere outside the modern sections of this city? where are the picture of the kids fishing in polluted rivers for floating fish?

They even build tanks, very powerful tanks
