China - Welcome to SkyNet (they really called it that) It's an interlinked system of facial recognition surveillance cameras to crack down anyone considered as an enemy of the State. Now China has 850,000,000 surveillance cameras, half of the world total. 1/2

In China, facial recognition (digital ID) is mandatory to enter airports and train stations & tourist attractions, stay at hotels, watch concerts and sports games, apply a phone number, a bank account, a digit wallet, get on the internet or play video games ... 2/2

Surveillance and Propaganda in China's countryside China's SkyNet is updating to add network loudspeakers. These loudspeakers are broadcasting the government propaganda 24/7.

So China saw the warnings from The Terminator and Black Mirror and thought, "Hey what a good idea!" 😬

@jordanbpeterson I am blown away they actually called this ‘SkyNet’ 🤯. Someone make it stop.

@jordanbpeterson Talk about dystopian

Open-air burning of stalks is prohibited, and the SKYNET has been used to catch offenders. Every cell tower has a CCTV camera. Those who get caught with violating this law will get fined 500 to 2,000 yuan (US$300), and lose 20 Social Credit Points.

@jordanbpeterson Just wait until they start placing these cameras inside homes (if they haven't already done that).

What is the penalty for destroying a surveillance camera?

@jordanbpeterson Absurd & Insane Have they not seen Terminator ??

America has similar. In America they use surveillance networks comprised of informants, cameras, geotracking, comms surveillance et al.

@rpavlova98 I knew that. Thanks
