And we're just going to just forget the 22 years Taipei kept Beijing out of the UN? The writing is on the wall, the "ROC" is a reanimated corpse. The PRC is the successor state, and if Taiwan wants to participate in the UN as an independent country, then it either needs to redefine the territories of the "ROC" as Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu instead of the entirety of China, or do away with the "ROC" altogether and establish a "Republic of Taiwan." And it must somehow convince all five permanent members of the security council to not veto its request for entry.
