The passenger structure of the railway systems in America are deliberate, and we’re created in conjunction with the automobile and oil industries to be inefficient and slow so that we would be forced to take our own automobile or a plane.

Racism is the reason why we don’t have similar transportation. Obama tried improving our infrastructure. Some Republicans governors said they didn’t want it because it would essentially bring black people into white neighborhoods.

It's wonderful watching Americans JUST realising how backwards their country's infrastructure is.

Even Europe blows out the US. It's why we use so much fuel and energy.

Because of the airline lobby. If you’re going to raise an important issue like this please throughly address the problem. The problem is lobbyist in Washington. The airlines would have none of this.

We were gonna build something similar here but Elon Musk ruined it because it would make his hyper loop useless. Which he never built...

If you had voted in Democrats @PeteButtigieg would have paved the way to high speed train networks. But apathetic and lazy voters ensured it won’t happen.

Visiting China and experiencing some of these exact same trips on their high speed rail network changed my perspective on a lot of things. Relaxing, clean, quiet, convenient, and great views along the way - 10/10 experience. Sad we’re stuck with planes & cars for everything.
