Los Angeles to San Francisco, Dallas to Houston, Chicago to Indianapolis, and then to Cincinnati in a short time. Imagine the traveling convenience and imagine the possibilities for more employment opportunities. We are the leader of the free world, we have some of the top minds in the world and have the technology to do so. Sad that America fails and falls way behind other countries in so many things like a high speed rail system, the health industry and the school system.

The ongoing record-breaking heat wave in the West will continue while expanding across the Central U.S. through the weekend. Based on preliminary data, there have been around 50 March high temperature records broken since March 17 and more than 150 daily high temperature records broken. Record setting temperatures are expected to continue over the next several days. Most areas will see temperature departures of 25 to 35 degrees higher than normal for this time of year. However, some locations in the central Plains on Saturday could see departures exceed 40 degrees from normal! Overnight low temperatures will also be well above average, providing little relief from the heat. The early time of year, prolonged nature of this heat wave, and limited seasonal acclimation will increase the risk of heat impacts especially among sensitive populations or those without effective cooling. 🇨🇳 Many people don't know this but Chinese high speed trains are now the fastest in the word and officially faster than even the 🇯🇵 Japanese Shinkansen Chinese trains go 350-400km/h (217-250mph) depending on the model While the Japanese Shinkansen goes 320km/h (200mph) max So I went to try it from Chengdu to Chongqing (just $80 for biz class) This one is the slightly older 350km/h model The business class cabin has 5 big seats that can lay flat with a stewardess dedicated to the cabin who serves you drinks like coffee, water, orange juice etc. I guess if it's a longer trip you probably get food served too The journey was very smooth and very fast, it maintained close to 350km/h at all times and there wasn't many stops or breaks (good) It didn't have WiFi, which is kind of a miss but it seems Chinese just use 5G for everything which worked fine for me without interrruption too I'd say the interior could be a bit more beautiful and modern. I usually say things in Japan look ancient but I think the Shinkansen interior there looks a bit more modern than here The trip took 1 hour and it passed about 300km in that time, roughly equivalent to the width of my country the Netherlands 😂 Anyway solid experience (and cheap!) 👍

This workflow is perfect for creating short fashion-style cinematic videos. I simplified the original prompts based on willie’s method, and the whole process is now much faster and more stable: 1. Generate a 3×3 keyframe grid (Nano Banana Pro only) Use this simple prompt: “In a 3x3 grid, show this character in different angles, keep the scene the same, random poses. This is far simpler and more efficient than my old prompts. You can generate multiple times and just pick the keyframes you like most. 2. Extract a high-res keyframe (Super stable trick) Take a screenshot of the keyframe you want from the 3×3 grid, send it back to Nano Banana Pro, and simply say: “Give me a high-resolution version.” This method is much more stable than relying on complex upscaling prompts. 3. Generate the video with Kling 2.5 Turbo Upload the first and last frames to Kling 2.5 Turbo and use this prompt: “The camera very slowly and smoothly lowers on a boom.” From my testing, Kling 2.5 Turbo offers the best balance of stability and cost — other models are either less consistent or noticeably more expensive. 4. Final speed adjustment with willie’s tool (Critical step) Use the tool built by willie to fine-tune the playback speed of each clip. This step is essential for getting that premium cinematic feel. Turns out your neighbor is a good time guy with a loud speed boat who loves to rip it up on the water daily. This is not what you had in mind and is ruining the experience for you. Should you have done more research on the rules of the lake like “no wake” zones or spent more time seeing what kind of boats went by?! Or should you learn to live with it knowing you bought a lake front property and boats are allowed.

BLUNDER! Two local trains on the same track on Central Railway at #Mumbai CSMT. A Central Railway spokesperson confirmed the incident and said they are investigating the matter. A train coming from Badlapur was taken on PF 5 instead of PF 4 which was occupied by another local. The local trains have been backed and now movement is restarting. The PF 5 to 8 were blocked and movement was stopped from 3.18pm Now the backing is complete and the movement is starting. There was a signal between these two local trains. CSMT Internal Home for Suburban Platforms was in red condition hence the Motorman stopped the train. Also the distance between the two trains was more than 130 meters.

As ferry pilots, we often fly 20-25 hours across long distances and frequently need to service the engine oil enroute. Especially so with the more tired engines. Turbine oil comes in cans, and since we have to go through security to get to a job, we don’t have tools. Fortunately the on-board crash axe is the PERFECT tool for the job. If you put one finger over the top hole, and move swiftly and smoothly into position and then release your finger - you can pretty easily hit the filler tube with little to no spillage 👍🏼 Unfortunately it’s not possible to do while also filming, so you’ll see no evidence of my (ahem) “perfect pour”
