Jewel the pig was shot to death by an officer, as animal rescuers watched in horror. Now activists are demanding accountability. On Sept 20, animal rescuers in Door County, Wisconsin contacted the police and requested assistance in securing a stray pig wandering on the streets. The officers promised to tranquilize the pig and were told a trailer was just 20 minutes away. But within 33 seconds of seeing the pig, an officer instead pulled out a rifle and shot her to death. Direct Action Everywhere Milwaukee and other groups are now demanding an investigation – and for the officer to be fired or charged. The unjustifiable killing of an animal is a crime in Wisconsin. Killing a gentle pig, moments before rescue, is as unjustifiable as it gets. Call the Door County Sheriff at 920-746-2400 and ask for an investigation of the incident and for Deputy Nathan Daoust to be charged with animal cruelty. #JusticeForJewel

A new species of monkeys has been discovered in the forests of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Colobus congoensis were found in Lomami National Park. They have distinct orange lips and pale markings around its mouth. Conservationists first spotted the animal back in 2008 and then sent out a team to find the species ten years later. Although these monkeys are new to scientists, locals are already familiar and refer to them as Likweli.

Of course there is no competion - its wonderful that both China and the US inspire the world to protect Mother Earth. Skrilla is speaking out after being arrested for allegedly shooting a police officer with a toy gun during a music video shoot earlier this month. The Philadelphia rapper is facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime and recklessly endangering another person, for allegedly shooting a police officer with a water pellet gun on Aug. 16. He has since been released on bond. In an exclusive video shared with XXL, Skrilla explains that he was filming a music video in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and several kids were playing with water bead Orbeez guns. "While the kids were playing, shooting at each other. I decided to be a part of the game, playing with them," Skrilla says. "Everybody is shooting at each other with the Orbeez guns. We having a good time." Skrilla says he began shooting the gun in the air and at other people, which prompted police who were monitoring the scene to intervene and arrest him. A spokesperson for the Philadelphia Police Department tells XXL Skrilla was arrested after he fired the toy gun and struck a nearby officer "in the chest, face and neck." "The charges, I feel like they were unnecessary," continues Skrilla, who is facing decades in prison if convicted of aggravated assault on a police officer. "I'm still going to continue to keep doing everything. Now, I'm doing it more smarter and a bit more organized."

FSD V14.1 is ready for Banish! Although not quite perfect, V14 is INCREDIBLY good in parking lots. This video showcases how close we are to banish becoming an actual usable feature in our cars. The idea is to have the car route to a curbside drop off and then immediately route to a parking lot destination. That simulates being dropped off at the front of the store and then getting out of the car and the car going to park on its own.
