有时代的局限性，向崖山后退可能是战略失误。其次，史书向来夸张，我记得好像是吴晗的说法，史书上的数字一般至少夸大三倍。崖山伤亡数字，我怀疑夸大了十倍。真有别说十万兵，一万兵也不是个小数目了。蒙古人拥有的骑兵总数也就10-15万。汉人降兵恐怕是主力，也就是汉人杀汉人。（如范文虎、吕文焕）

But tell me, does the sun diminish because it is unseen by the blind? Does its light falter because a lunatic curses its name? No, my friend. The sun remains, burning with relentless brilliance, giving life to all who dwell beneath it, whether they acknowledge it or not. . So it is with God. His glory is eternal, unshaken by the denial of men. He is the architect of the heavens, the One who breathed life into dust and set the stars upon their courses. But the fight against evil teaches us a lot. War teaches you to appreciate and love more. War teaches us to distinguish good from evil. War shows the real faces of people. War brings out the worst in some people, but it also brings out the best in others: valor, honor, kindness. On our part, an aggressive war should never be justified, where someone else's freedom is trampled, where someone else's lands and home are seized. Where innocent people are deprived of life. But a defensive war, where people defend their freedom, their home, their future, their children, is something completely different. And such a defense of life and freedom is the duty of the entire free world, if honor and dignity are not an empty place for it. War is not a Hollywood action movie. It is death, pain, destruction. One in which foreign armies seized our lands to feed their troops while half our population died of famine. A country without an army, without national infrastructure, without sovereignty over its own resources. And I can go on, and on, and on. In return, we Iranians repaid their blood, sweat, and tears with one of the greatest treacheries imaginable in modern history. His grandfather, arguably one of the greatest men in Iran’s history, his tomb was levelled to the ground. His father was forced to leave the country he loved more than anything in the world. One could say it was not his illness that killed him, but the knife we put in his back, the betrayal of a nation he had dedicated his life to. Reza Pahlavi’s friends and family who remained in Iran were murdered, one by one, at the hands of the regime WE enabled. An entire generation around him was hunted, imprisoned, executed, or driven into exile. His sister and brother, unable to bear the weight of exile and the destruction of everything they had known, took their own lives. Reza Pahlavi has the money. He could have chosen a quiet life, a life of comfort and distance, far from the insults, the threats, the endless character assassination. Instead of spending more than four decades on this path, he could have lived for himself and his family, free of this burden. Instead, he chose responsibility. We must not forget the horrific moments from October 7th, the moments Omer Wenkert was abducted into Gaza. Omer realized the immensity of the attack on the Nova Music Festival at 7 a.m., half an hour after the sirens and missiles started. Niva, his mother, recounts those moments: “He texted us ‘it’s as scary as hell, rockets over our heads… they are shooting in here, mom’. His last message was at 7:50a.m. ‘I’m scared to death’”. It’s impossible to imagine the chaos and hell in the shelter at Re’im, where Omer was hiding. The terrorists threw 8 grenades into the shelter, and at some point, burnt something at the entrance to choke whoever was still alive in it. The few people, who survived the attack at that point, tried to run out for fresh air, and were shot. Omer was one of them. He couldn’t take the heavy smoke. Once he came out, he was abducted. At 11:11a.m Hamas posted a video of Omer’s abduction on social media, and a photo of him. His hands and legs tied, wearing only his underpants at a back of a pickup truck, surrounded by terrorists screaming and waving AK-47 riffles, shoving him from side to side. Liam Or, who was released on the previous deal, and was held captive with Omer in Gaza, told his family about their captivity. Omer’s mom shared: “We know that once they entered Gaza, Omer was ‘showcased’ around the city. He called it ‘a show off tour’”. Liam also said that when he met with Omer at the tunnel, Omer asked him – ‘Do you think they’ll kill us?’ Their physical conditions were extremely rough. Most of the time they slept on nylons surrounded by sand. They used a bucket as their toilet and had no shower. On the first 54 days they washed themselves twice, each time with a single bottle of salty sea water. They ate 3 dates a day and sometimes only a small piece of pitta bread. Most of the time, the only light was fluorescent , and there were many power failures and they had to sit in the dark. " Omer Wenkert, 23, is held hostage in Gaza for nearly a year.
