We've just arrived in Yabuli, a famous ski resort in China's Heilongjiang province, where we'll be staying for the next 4 days. We're staying in Club Med. This Club Med was the first one to open in China, in 2010. Since then, they've opened an additional 9 and of course the company itself was bought by China's Fosun group. Winter sports are becoming more and more popular in China, with most ski stations being located either in China's Northeast (where we are) or in Xinjiang. Even today, a Friday mid-afternoon that's not on a school or bank holiday, we can see a lot of people on the slopes.
