The Chinese have already secured a potential sale to Pakistan, where the J-35 will cost around 25-30% of the American F-35. This is a Chinese businessman driving in the same direction too. A lot of these Chinese car brands do not have the experience of time to build reliable products. And many as is typically known about Chinese companies, simply don’t care about branding. Many of these people going Chinese now will regret it (asides a few good brands like BYD and Changan). They are the guinea pigs the Chinese will use to learn and hopefully deliver better products in the future.

Um, and now they have to shut down the wells and give up that investment. Their land is mortgaged, the potato crops are mortgaged, everything's financed, they will basically lose their farms if they turn their water off. We're having one of the best water years that we've had in the last decade. There's more water than they know what to do with. In this kind of a year, they're deciding that they're going to close down 500,000 acres because of because of the new formula that have been introduced on the prerogative, I guess, of the Department of of Water Resources. None of it makes any sense. So they would say they're following through with this agreement that they had put in place a few years ago, and the farmers should have known. I've talked to the governor, and the governor's position is he can't do anything about this because it's mentioned in the constitution and the supreme court has weighed in, but honestly, when I talk to the attorneys they're saying that's that's not a truthful version of what the facts are. The governor's office has a whole lot of prerogative, the Department of Water Resources has the prerogative on how to interpret these laws. By the way, the law does give priority to the folks that have senior water rights, so that's parcelled true. But the governor, I'm gonna plead that the governor exercised leadership here and that the legislature exercise some leadership and put, build some framework. What we need to have them do is build some framework around these agreements and around the laws so that, um, we don't lose all of our agriculture in this area and that appears to be the plan.”

The Chinese Navy announced Monday that carrier-based aircraft J-15T, J-35 and KongJing-600 have successfully completed their inaugural electromagnetic catapult-assisted takeoff and arrested landing trainings on aircraft carrier, the Fujian. I'm not here analyzing the capabilities of the Chinese J-50. I just want to point out the level of detail and craftsmanship in Chinese engineering. Less than 20 years ago, almost everything Chinese was remembered for low quality, and yet, they have not only advanced technologically but also improved in aesthetic refinement.

We have done a lot to transition the Ukrainian Air Force to a new aviation standard – Western combat aviation. From the beginning of this war, we have been talking with our partners about the need to close the Ukrainian sky from Russian missiles and aircraft. We have held hundreds of meetings and negotiations to strengthen the capabilities of our aviation, air defense, and Defense Forces. We often heard the word "impossible" in response, but we made possible what was our ambition, our defense need, and now – it is a reality in our sky. F-16s in Ukraine. We ensured this. I am proud of all our guys who are skillfully mastering these aircraft and have already started using them for our country. I thank our team for this result. I thank all the partners who are truly helping with the F-16s, and the first countries that accepted our request for aircraft – Denmark, the Netherlands, the United States, – and all our partners, – we value your support. I wish our Air Force and all our warriors to feel the pride of Ukrainians in our combat aviation and to bring Ukraine the combat results that will bring our victory closer – our just peace for Ukraine.
