Chinese equipment failed again Huge success for US Forces A recently supplied Chinese HQ-9 Air Defence System is among the other equipment of IRGC which were destroyed by the US forces in overnight ops. This system was deployed in Tahrui village in Sirik, hit by US AF F-35.

Like in Pakistan and Venezuela, Chinese air defence systems have failed in Iran as well. The U.S. & Israeli air forces successfully neutralized multiple Chinese air defence systems purchased by Iran in exchange for crude oil. They were unable to lock onto even a single drone.

CRAM system at the Qasrak base in northern syria has been activated to intercept incoming drones launched by the PMF in Iraq. This is interesting: US forces abandoned the base in February 2026 - then they redeployed there in March 2026; the redeployment however was surrounded by a lot of rumours and speculation. The CRAM systems activation is the first real confirmation that US forces have been redeployed there in large numbers; large enough to warrant the deployment of a CRAM system.

But this isn't about destroyed or not, the F-35 for years was touted as invincible, a PR campaign on stealth directed to mock Russian and Chinese tech, well that era is over. The Iranians managed to video, track and strike the jet. Although not specified the system used, I'm confident the S-400 would have no trouble hitting that.
