Cool. I still remember my professor at Econ class in Hawaii argued in the 1990s that China does not need to make cars because it can just buy from Japan. I retorted that if South Korea never started its auto industry, you would not see those Hyundai on the streets. China is amazing because it leads in EVs, the green low carbon transport means that the world desperately needs.

This is why the west has imposed tariffs on Chinese cars. They simply can’t compete.
