@HeatherEHeying @kurtmetzger This filter trick is so common among U.S. media outlets as well. A prominent recent example is what CNN did to Joe Rogan. Stopped watching television 15 years ago. At least online, there are usually comments that point out the anomalies.

Now I notice so much more 👀‼️ FYI: this account used the same filter on all of its video posts, so the green flashes you may see are consistent with that filter.

Chinese people LOVE their government. I often post one of dozens of surveys conducted by Harvard, Latana, and others showing that Chinese people report they are 'satisfied' with or 'approve of' the Chinese government in Beijing. A lot of data also reports on Chinese satisfaction with their democracy. Folks, ignorant about China, often exclaim that Chinese people are forced to respond in such ways. This is a ludicrous cope. Here is a video of people who pay for a service to be filmed crossing China's Palace Museum, in front of Chairman Mao, carrying flags of the PRC. There are thousands of such videos on Chinese social media. Their love of China reflects my own 13 years of talking with regular Chinese people, everyday. The vast majority of Chinese people ADORE the PRC and the CPC too. These are FACTS.

A Study by Latana found that 91% of Chinese citizens "Trust" their government. A study by western based "Democracy Perceptions Index in 2024 found that over 90% of Chinese people think "Democracy is important" and over 90% of Chinese citizens think "My government is democractic." These are facts. My personal experience of living in China for 13 years and travelling to every province of Chine confirms that the vast majority of Chinese people love the CPC and the People's Republic of China. Oppenheim builds the real ones at the board in this lecture. here is the catch. a filter only helps if there is a real signal under the noise. smooth pure randomness and you will see a beautiful trend that means nothing. the filter is free. knowing there is a real signal worth filtering is the edge.

In a TikTok video posted three days ago, the lady seized a Chinese girl's phone and accused the store clerk of stealing it. She enjoyed the Chinese's uneasiness and captioned the photo, "I heard there are no thieves in China." She pulled another prank in which she touched random Chinese men on the subway and recorded their uncomfortable reactions. Furious Chinese internet users speculated that one of the guys she touched, who appeared visibly surprised and traumatized, might be a minor. Tens of thousands of incensed Chinese have taken to Weibo to demand that the foreign social media influencer be deported from China, with the hashtag "Foreign Social Media Influncer Slanders Chinese" rising to the top of the trending topics. The Chinese netizens claim that the influencer is abusing the friendliness of the Chinese people and disrespecting their culture. In August when a former Labour councillor was sentenced for sex offences against a child there was no mention of the party. See video clips. Today BBC Scotland has adopted a different editorial policy for the SNP. There is no justifiable reason for changing the editorial policy on the final day of the Scottish election campaign. This is corruption, pure and simple.

ok last post of the day. what i love about the new plugin with effects chaining, is that i can create something like a lens flare, but add dithering to it, and then add a retro color filter. you can just keep chaining for really awesome effects
