At least according to my construction guy these tiles need to be soaked in water such that the cement cures slowly and adheres better to tiles. If that is not done the tiles will release after use and require repair. I learned this the hard way, but not saying the Chinese have not developed a cement that works with dry tiles.

I'm no tiler, but aren't tiles, especially large ones supposed to be "back buttered"? Also, this robot is incredibly slow. And if my above assertion is true, this finished floor will likely not last.

The robot is only as good as the screed under it. A tiler laying by hand can adjust as he goes. Uneven areas can be tap down, he's correcting the floor while he tiles. This arm can't do that. It places at a fixed bed thickness, so every dip in the base shows up as a lipped tile.

Let's see it climb a set of stairs with a box of tiles on its shoulder and a tub of tools in the other hand.

This is exactly the kind of job robots are perfect for. 👏
