I think I might start muting the “but steroids” people when I see a Barry Bonds was a baseball god post. Who gives a f*ck if he took steroids. Lots of people did. No one hit like Bonds. No one.

Two Things: 1) Who gives a damn about steroids at this point? Prime Bonds was McGwire+Sosa and appointment television 2) I saw Bobby Cox get tossed defending a blown third strike call and it’s the fastest I’ve ever seen the hook, then @RealCJ10 got tossed WHILE in the field

Fans & media may shun Bonds but the fact that his peers know he’s the best tells you all you need to know. He’s the GOAT! Best I ever watched.

Before PEDs, Bonds was the best hitter in baseball, the best defensive left fielder of all-time, and a big threat on the basepaths. If Bonds had just done serious weight training without PEDs, his power numbers would still have increased in the 00s. His dad was amazing too.

Don't even need a scouting report. The IBB is the Greg Maddux plan to pitch to Barry Bonds. Maddux says he's the easiest guy in the league to pitch to. Just get the next guy.
