I was horrified to learn that a relative's son and his wife had had 6 eggs fertilized and then frozen. Now a decade later they are thinking they don't want children and are going to sell them. They did it because 'it was free'. This must be going on all across the country.

In Loving Memory of Chester Today, the Ark of Grace family is mourning the loss of our beloved Chester. More than six years ago, Chester was surrendered to our care with diabetes and a difficult prognosis. We did not know then how much time we would be given with him, but by the grace and mercy of God, Chester went on to live many happy and peaceful years here at the Sanctuary, far longer than anyone expected. Chester was truly special. He was gentle, loving, and brought warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He loved his treats, being surrounded by those who cared for him, and especially spending time with his best friend, Boots. The two were rarely far from one another. For Amanda, Chester held an especially meaningful place in her heart. He came into her life during a season of tremendous change and uncertainty following Chris's brain injury, becoming a source of comfort and light when it was deeply needed. Early this morning, Chester went into respiratory distress and was rushed to the emergency room. Amanda and Chris remained by his side as he peacefully passed on to be with the Lord. We are incredibly grateful to the Guardian Veterinary Specialists emergency and internal medicine teams who fought for Chester and did everything they could to help him. Their compassion and dedication did not go unnoticed. We also want to thank every member of our Ark of Grace family who prayed for Chester and generously helped make his care possible over the years. Because of you, Chester was given the opportunity to live a life filled with safety, comfort, friendship, and so much love. Chester, you were a precious gift entrusted to our care, and you will be deeply missed. We take comfort knowing that you are now healed and whole in the presence of the Lord. This isn't goodbye. It's simply see you later. Rest peacefully, sweet Chester. You were and always will be deeply loved.

Trump: I will not be abandoning the farmers. We are strong on the borders and for the farmers and others in the hotel industry. We have similar situations and Kristi and I will be working with the states and we will work something where the farmers and be responsible. They have had people around for 10 or 15 years and they know them well, we will put them responsible, and issue a form of card or documents and the farmer will be responsible for these people. They will not have citizenship but they will be working and paying taxes. We need to get our farmers the people they need or else the farmers will not be able to do their land. It was tried when there was a very strong guy, and he got everybody out, and every farm almost in the country but every farm in California or Iowa went bankrupt and they had nobody to work and we do not want that situation. A reminder of what a threat BJ Penn was to the establishment with his run for Governor of Hawaii in 2022!!! We remember telling BJ when we first met him… “Thank you!! You know they will come after you and your family...” We don’t know specifically what has happened since then, but it was clear that the Hawaii political establishment knew they needed to stop BJ Penn and the movement he created. And it appears to us that they found a way. BJ, we will always remember and be grateful for what you did to help wake up and fight for the people in Hawaii. We end the week on a heartbreaking note. You will remember little RPD Stanley from HMPPS Operational Dogs and HMP Wormwood Scrubs. Stanley has not been well for a while now, and we have been supporting him for the last few months, knowing it would give him more time with his devoted Dad and handler Chris, and his partner Karen. They had a lovely Christmas, but Stan has deteriorated over the last week and yesterday, after a day of no yucky meds, and whatever he wanted to eat, he slipped quietly over rainbow bridge at home - surrounded by familiar smells, love, and cuddles. We’ve got to know Chris and Karen so well and our hearts go out to them both. It’s the worst decision to make, all dog owners know that - but they had to do what was best for him. It would have been Stanley’s 11th birthday today. They decided to let him go yesterday, as Karen said, today may have been his earthly birthday, but instead it’s his Birth Day into his new life, and we rather like that thought. Stan served for 9 and a half years - his finds were legendary. Two particularly memorable discoveries: After a search of one cell under suspicion - with nothing found - Stan kept ‘knocking’ on the next door, and Chris suggested they put him in. He popped onto the top bunk, and immediately put his paws on the wall and stared at the light. When they removed the light fitting, contraband ‘ literally rained down’ on them all.. A huge find. Another search, and Stan was ‘knocking’ round the base of the loo. They looked under at the floor - nothing. But Stan was insistent. He was right, the loo bowl had a false bottom, and there it all was. He always found what he was looking for, and it was only due to ill-health he retired. He was brilliant at his job. Sadly, a long retirement was not meant to be, but what an epic life he led - and what a character he was. Happy Birth Day over rainbow bridge little Stan - you will be missed so much. Sleep well, and thank you for your loyal service. 💜🐾🐾💜

I feel that and some of them are no longer with us to be honest because it was 49 leaders that were taken out. That was going to take four weeks we thought to get rid of the Iranian leadership and it is always, you know, if they hide, it is a lot longer than four weeks. They would have been hiding. We were shocked when we heard what was going on. We knew exactly what was happening… they are talking about using people now that nobody ever heard of—even they don't know. They are using people, studying people to be the leader that even they don't know who they are. Can you believe that?” I said it's a tough succession plan in Iran. He said, “49 leaders is deep. It's very deep. When they met, they met for breakfast. They assumed it was good for a lot of reasons. Number one they didn't think we knew. You never attack in the morning having to do with wind and sun and a lot of things. It was amazing that we knew everything we knew.”
