One of my favorite things Van did last night. Use the crucifix to break the single leg. A more grappling minded fighter might have tried to turn over into the crucifix, but this would be a mistake against someone as slick as Tsuruya. Against great scramble grapplers, why risk them trying to regain position on top? Instead, Van relinquishes control of the arm with his legs, posts against the shoulder to create space and prevent him from coming back in on the leg, to stand up.

In 1935, quarry workers in Porthmadog, North Wales, used a unique method for descending from the top of the quarry without additional energy. To control the descent speed and prevent collisions, a brake system was implemented, where workers collectively regulated the speed by placing their hands on a lever connected to a braking mechanism.

A name to keep an eye on for the #Yankees is Reds LHP Nick Lodolo. When comparing to MacKenzie Gore, Lodolo has a superior GB%, BB%, same yrs of control, same age & figures to cost less due to Gore’s strong K%. And while Gore provides a similar look as Fried & Rodon (all same arm angle 44-46 degrees), Lodolo is closer to Sale’s extreme arm angle (15 degrees). NYY could likely get more out of his K% given their track record of velo gains and Lodolo’s strong whiff and chase rates. Cincy’s SP depth is fantastic, while they are projected for the 5th lowest OF WAR in MLB. A trade around Dominguez/Jones makes sense.

Some nice changes here with one of my students We've basically been working on keeping the club more in front of the body during the backswing In the "Before", you can see he gets the club a little flat at lead arm parallel (P3), & the arms are really deep. This created a lot of over draws from a ball flight perspective So we worked on getting the takeaway feeling more outside & trying to hinge the club as vertical as he can at lead arm parallel (P3) This has helped him keep the club more in front of him. Now I wan't to tackle the trail forearm & lead wrist structure at the top 👊 If you are interested in working with me on your game, DM me & let's chat. I'll answer you directly. No "staff"... When the trail arm straightens, it delivers the club squarely and helps your body release its stored energy in the right direction. Too many golfers collapse the right arm early or “chicken wing” the left, which causes pulls, slices, and inconsistency. Instead, think of the right arm extending down the target line after impact—just like Hogan, Snead, and so many classic swingers did. That extension keeps the clubface square, compresses the ball, and sends it flying on a rope. Work on this move and you’ll be amazed how much straighter your shots become.

But that’s not how serious compression is created. Pull in as you turn the corner, and keep that upper left arm tied to the chest. That’s where the speed, control, and compression come together. I’ve obtained this video showing what happens when a 30-06 round hits the human body. No way someone is able to fire this weapon from the prone position and still have an arm. Every single soldier in WW1 that tried to fire this rifle didn’t live to tell about it, and now you see why.
