I’ll never forget, I first saw Lorenzo in 2014 at Plug in Sheffield, he was doing his Cause & Affect project at the time. He comes up to me and my buddy in the smoking area and asks for our lighter. I have basically zero dj career at this point so I’m super nervous that one of my hero’s is stood in front of me. I tell him I’m from Kidderminster, a town near where’s he’s from and he just goes, “Kidderminster’s a shithole” and walks off. 8 years later I move to LA and meet him again and I tell him that story, to which he replies, “it’s still a shithole” and walks off again 😂 We’re now best friends, legendary bloke.
