It's funny because it's true.

I lost my job 6 months ago and my wife has supported me and our family the entire time. But, I became the best stay at home dad I could be. Cleaning, cooking, landscaping, painting, coaching, and everything in between. All while applying for job after job and going on interview after interview. There are lots of ways to pull your weight in this world, so I don’t agree with the “one job loss away” joke. Still kinda funny, though. (I have recently accepted and offer for a new job, btw).

Somewhat scriptural. God said to Adam he must tilt the garden (work)… Women are attracted to purpose, not necessarily money. So to men, before God brings a woman to you He brings work. Now let me tell how this economy distorts family values…

Misandry is so ubiquitous that people think this is funny. They laugh at failed lonely men. Would people laugh like this at the miserable failures of women?

This feeds the self hatred cycles that men are actively trying to come out of, this doesn’t help men love themselves out of hating themselves. The women who determine their man’s worth *only* by this 💰 metric are not women who esteem men.
