Chris Rock’s Netflix special isn’t just notable for his smackdown on Will Smith. It’s notable because it’s yet another cultural indicator that the anti-woke revolution is upon us.

Rock goes HARD after the woke, from the victimhood culture to cancellation attempts. And he’s not the only one. We’re seeing nearly every major comedian targeting wokeness -- because wokeness spells both the end of humor, and the end of the meritocracy.

This is good. And proponents of wokeness are going to feel this politically, because culture is indeed upstream of politics. Get my full reaction on today’s episode of The Ben Shapiro Show here:

I continue to be baffled by this conservative narrative that the Chris Rock special was somehow an attack on Wokeness. Did any of these people actually watch it?! He threw a couple of small bones to the anti-Woke crowd, but most of it was VERY pro-Wokeness and VERY pro-liberal.

Ben Schapiro is so desperate to cling to the Culture Wars... ...because he makes money off the perpetuation.

@benshapiro says ‘anti-woke revolution’ like it means something other than ‘continuation of the current power structure’. Being ‘anti-woke’ is literally just the same conservative reactionary backlash we’ve seen after every significant cultural movement in history.

Long overdue, but the signs are everywhere- the backlash is real and getting stronger every day.

Gov Sanders said the 2024 election will be between normal and crazy. And the woke movement is definitely ‘way out there’ crazy.

yeah, guy has massive outlet for his comedy criticizing culture, clearly woke cancel culture is upon us.

Agree. And it was hilarious. Comedy is back.

Ben is so happy he has a celebrity he can tell people to listen to again! Before tomorrow when he goes back to telling you not to listen to celebrities.
