Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski: Ukraine has certainly won in the Black Sea. Russia certainly doesn't have air domination over Ukraine. It can send missiles and drones, but it cannot fly freely over Ukraine. The ground war is stuck, and Ukraine seems to have gained fire control over a strategic highway from Donbas to Crimea, also over Crimea, and is conducting successful deep strikes against Russian refineries, which is affecting the Russian army's capacity to operate. So, you know, wars are never linear. They go through phases, but it looks like the phase of Russia having the initiative has ended. Source: CBS News

Additionally, channels around the city report that reinforcements have arrived and have begun to filter into Kupyansk. These same Russian channels also claim supply routes from the north have been restored. Again, these are all claims. Information from the Ukranian side is very sparse.

UKRAINE HITS ANOTHER OIL SITE IN RUSSIA 🇷🇺 Ukraine Hits Major Russian Oil Terminal on the Black Sea Since Ukrainian drones hit Moscow's oil refinery directly last week, Kyiv has now struck the Grushovaya oil terminal near Novorossiysk overnight. A massive fire burned through the night, confirmed by locals and visible on NASA satellite data. Grushovaya links Russian pipeline crude directly to BLACK SEA export infrastructure, one of the last major arteries in Moscow's remaining oil revenue chain. Ukraine has now knocked out roughly 40% of Russia's total oil export capacity. Nine Russian refineries have suspended operations this spring alone. Refinery output is at its LOWEST level since 2009. And Hormuz is still closed. Every barrel Russia cannot export keeps European fuel prices high, keeps the Strait of Hormuz relevant, and keeps the pressure on EU capitals to back the U.S. and Israel against Iran. Ukraine is not hitting these targets for battlefield reasons. The timing has never been a coincidence.
