This was happening to this family while we were all celebrating on the 4th of July. Heavy rains and flooding. The yard drain/catch basin outside was clogged with pine needles. Water started pouring in through their basement window. This is the second time this has happened. 😳 Having a basement is great but if you live in an area prone to flash floods, you need to make sure your yard drain/catch basin is free from debris and not clogged. You also may want to build something around those window wells that can divert water away.💯 Look at how much water is pouring through. Looks like a river! That’s going to be a lot of mold! 🤯 Definitely not the way you want to spend your 4th of July. Do you have a yard drain/catch basin to help keep water away from your house?
