@lecrae @Kanakuk I heard nothing but facts here. And this is mainly why I struggle with Religion to this day... You cannot be a racist Christian. You are either racist or a Christian you cannot be both.

@lecrae @Kanakuk Absolutely!!! White evangelicals use Christianity as a form of dissonance to justify their rhetoric, racism and intolerance. They’ve warped the language in the Bible to fit narratives that absolve them of accountability.

@lecrae @Kanakuk The funny thing about the demonization of the word “woke” is the implication that being awake is bad. I guess those folks that don’t like “woke” really want ppl to go back to sleep. The irony abounds. 😩

@lecrae @Kanakuk Very true. The fascist are now trying to rebrand white nationalism as Christian nationalism and “good” Christians are failing to call them out because of the shared ideology. It’s something that the black churches have to be aware of.

@lecrae @Kanakuk I have a serious question to any and everyone. What is WOKE? We as black ppl used the term Woke to as a synonym for the work INFORMED & EDUCATED, so if we change the word from WOKE to its actual meaning of informed & educated would it still be a bad thing?

@lecrae @Kanakuk I am speechless and in tears. Never thought I went to a white church, just thought I went to church. Then I started voicing my thoughts and so many I loved for years and served with now saw me as being too left and losing my faith. This is 💯

I watched President Carter’s public funeral service the other day. I do believe he was a decent human being. My question is: Why would a Christian or Christian church want or allow the song, “Imagine” to be performed at a funeral or within the sanctuary? The song is one of the most anti-Christian and, quite frankly, most depressing songs ever written. It is a WOKE song before WOKE was known. I know one thing for certain: It would never be allowed in a Catholic Church. Do any of you agree with me about my assessment of the song?

Apparently, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is facing backlash from the Left for trying to stop installation of more Muslim foot-washing stations at the DFW International Airport. Instead of feeding the outrage machine, I actually have a simple solution to this whole thing: separate foot-washing stations for EVERY religion. Jesus washed feet. Why don't Christians get one?
