Christianity is a lifestyle!

J D Vance points out, in his book “Hillbilly Elegy”, (chapter 6), that the root cause of the dysfunction and unhappiness in the lives of the people in his story, is a lack of Christian principles influencing their lives and interactions with others. “They were deeply religious but without any attachment to a real church community.” That is, they didn’t have the values and principles of Christianity taught in the Biblical stories embedded in their thinking.
