Blew my mind when I found out Stop and Shop and Bradlees were owned by the same company

Bradlees Caldor Lechmere Zayre… all gone

While in high school I worked at a Stop and Shop and since their parent company owned Bradlee’s they gave us a 30% off night of shopping there each winter. The stores would close to the public and S&S employees got the run of the store for about 2 hours.

30% off is a lot.

I still can remember the one over by Neponset. That was my parents' go-to when I was a kid.

A bummer they closed down a lot of stores that year. Loved Bradlees.

Best store. I miss it.
