Christopher Hitchens predicted back in 2009 that the term ‘Islamophobia’ would eventually be used to criminalize any speech that is critical of Islam. The whole concept of ‘Islamophobia’ is about implementing Sharia blasphemy laws in the West.

A phobia is an *unwarranted* fear of something. This is warranted. We have 1,300+ years of jihad, stabbings, killings, hostage taking, terrorizing (a word used 4 times in the Qur'an) and bombings all in the name of Islam. And they're allowed to lie to non-Muslims about it. No 10 Commandments in Islam. All this is in their Qur'an and teachings.

France's new anti-cult law and Germany's ongoing "sect filters" against religious minorities raise serious concerns about religious freedom. These actions echo historical fascist policies, leading to the dehumanization of certain groups and justifying future hate crimes.
