Nolan & Co. built 8 steel rings (30ft diameter) and connected them all (100ft long) inside of an airplane hangar with electric motors spinning the rings. It created a centrifuge effect to “manipulate gravity” and Joseph Gordon-Levitt spent weeks training for the rotating fight sequence.
