Physical disks are the best

My problem with streaming is they haven’t bothered offering those lossless experiences for internet connections who can take it. Why would they right? They don’t want to serve up large files or take up server farm space. The fact that you “buy” a 4K movie on platforms and they are not only compressed to hell, but ONLY accessible via a stream while simultaneously not being able to download feels like it should be illegal. The whole streaming thing is a con. Especially when it comes to ownership. All of that aside, the audio quality alone on a blu-ray makes it no competition.

The physical disc will ALWAYS be superior to streaming. You lose half of the technical merits of a film on streaming, especially with Nolan’s.

physical media is amazing and I hope it never goes away. there is a place for both streaming and physical media in the world.
