It's just about quality. Chuck roll needs to be slow cooked or it is as tough as shoe leather lol. Cook it in a pan like he did and it's horrible. You could keep your crock pot going all day though to make it worth eating.

Did you juat compare a ribeye to a Chuck steak?? Lol. That's sacrilegious.....oh and if you don't vacuum seal that meat and freeze it you may as well throw 75% away

As an ex meat cutter, this is NOT the piece of meat you want to buy if you want a decent steak. Chuck steaks are not great. Get a whole ribeye, or a whole sirloin. Chucks are great if you want to cut a few roasts out of it, but not for steaks.

I buy big packs steaks, vacuum seal about 6-8 steaks, and then cook them sous vide. Throw them in the fridge, fry them up individually. I'll have to try Sam's club for cutting up a big hunk! TY!
